Roger Bacon received a tough blow as they fell 54-36 to Archbishop McNicholas. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Roger Bacon in their matchups with Archbishop McNicholas: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Spartans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mariah Henderson, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds. Morgan Rohling was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Roger Bacon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Archbishop McNicholas, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roger Bacon will challenge Summit Country Day at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Archbishop McNicholas, they will head out on the road to face off against Archbishop Alter at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
