Minooka extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Kendall Kozak. The Indians walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Romeoville Spartans on Thursday with plenty of help from Kozak, who had seven kills, six digs, and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 30 times she's played.

Minooka easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20.

Minooka got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maddie Dostall out in front who had 12 digs and two assists.

Minooka's record is now 17-6. As for Romeoville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Minooka has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Frankenmuth on the 3rd. As for Romeoville, they will take on Plainfield North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
