Ian Kolste and Sheyenne Sams provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Marysville Getchell. The connection went for 77 yards, the longest such play in 3A Wesco - North this season.
Marysville-Pilchuck extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Everett, 49-14. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Tomahawks.
Oak Harbor's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kolste threw for 130 and one touchdown and Sams had 77 yards receiving. On the ground Fred Webster chipped in 115 yards. JoJo Webster helped Oak Harbor's passing attack out by catching three balls for 43 yards.
Oak Harbor's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kolste has thrown for 974 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Webster has 28 catches for 538 yards. Webster leads the league in rushing with 748 yards.
