Crosby was led to victory by Nevin Kinsey and Micah Blackman. Kinsey scored 11 points along with four steals, while Blackman scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. The match was Blackman's third in a row with at least ten points. Jeydan Benjamin was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Crosby's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for St. Paul Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
Crosby will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Torrington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Torrington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Crosby likes a good challenge. St. Paul Catholic will finish 2023 at home by hosting Windsor Locks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Windsor Locks will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
