If Christian Brothers wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Fort Zumwalt South, they should've done a better job of containing Connor James. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Cadets 2-1 on Saturday for which the team can thank James, who had 14 digs and three aces. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last four games he's played.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Fort Zumwalt South got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 24-26, 25-15.

Fort Zumwalt South's victory bumped their record up to 11-4-1. As for Christian Brothers, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-1 record this season.

Fort Zumwalt South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Fort Zumwalt West on the 12th. As for Christian Brothers, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Webster Groves on the 14th.
