Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around on Monday.
Fishers Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a rough 83-32 loss at the hands of Heartland Christian. Fishers Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-16.
Meanwhile, Tabernacle Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Heartland Christian 55-27. Tabernacle Christian was down 49-22 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Fishers Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tabernacle Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
Fishers Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Tabernacle Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2020, but they still walked away with a 66-62 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fishers Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
