Basketball Recap: Mastery Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for Mastery, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They took down the Oakcrest Falcons 63-45 on Friday.

Mastery found their leader in sophomore Ezequeil Cosme, who posted 28 points along with six boards and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cosme has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Damien James, who had eight points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Mastery's win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2. As for Oakcrest, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Mastery will head out to square off against Cherry Hill West at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Oakcrest, they will welcome Wildwood Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on December 29th.
