Rison got themselves on the board against Poyen on Saturday, but Poyen never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 14-0 margin over the Poyen Indians. The Wildcats have beaten the Indians the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Indians has come to flipping the script.

Rison now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Rison is taking a road trip to square off against Crossett at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Poyen will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Magnet Cove at 4:30 p.m. on March 18th.
