McClave has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 23 points or more this season.
Abrielle Gomez was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 18 points, ten rebounds, and 11 assists. That's the first time this season that she posted eight or more assists. McKayla Kiniston was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with four steals.
McClave's win was their 12th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points per game. As for South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett], their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McClave won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Granada at 4:00 p.m. on January 26th.
