The Osceola Warriors will take on the River Ridge Royal Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Osceola sitting on four straight victories and River Ridge on three.
Osceola gave up the first runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They blew past Boca Ciega 10-4.
Luke Pembleton looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Vincent Ferrell was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Osceola's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 8-9 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Daly, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Meanwhile, River Ridge hadn't done well against Wesley Chapel recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Royal Knights put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 14-4 win. Considering the Royal Knights have won six games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
River Ridge got a massive performance out of Cameron Kessell, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Jordan Cox was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
River Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
River Ridge's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Osceola, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Osceola has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like River Ridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.5 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Osceola came out on top in a nail-biter against River Ridge in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 6-5. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Royal Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
