The Aledo Bearcats won against the Brewer Bears last Friday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Friday. Aledo won by a goal and slipped past Brewer 3-2. The win made it back-to-back wins for Aledo.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Allyson Weimer and
Emery Thompson, who scored all three of Aledo's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 19 so far this season.
The victory got Aledo back to even at 5-5-2. As for Brewer, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-2.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Azle the next time they take the pitch. Aledo will host Azle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Brewer will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
