The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hemingway in their matchups with Kingstree: they've now lost five in a row.
MAKAYLA DUKES was on fire for Kingstree: she dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which DUKES has scored at least 25% of Kingstree's points. Another player making a difference was NAYDIA SHAW, who scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
Hemingway's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Kingstree, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
