Ridgefield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woodland only posted a batting average of .231.
Ridgefield is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Hockinson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Hockinson has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .431. However, it's not like Ridgefield struggles in that department as they've averaged .503. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
