Even though The South Davidson Wildcats have not done well against the West Davidson Dragons recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. South Davidson snuck past West Davidson with a 14-10 win. The win was familiar territory for South Davidson who now have three in a row.
South Davidson was led to victory by Peyton Davis and Tanner Delattre. Davis rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown, while Delattre rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown.
South Davidson's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 4-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.0 points per game. As for West Davidson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
