Baker County waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took down the Beaches Chapel Lions 40-22. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly 18 points.

Baker County was led to victory by Brady Jacobs and Jackson Carver. Jacobs posted eight points and three steals, while Carver earned six points and three steals. Jacobs is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamarion Goodman, who had six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Baker County's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Beaches Chapel, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baker County and Yulee will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. One thing working in Yulee's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Beaches Chapel, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Johns Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Beaches Chapel is facing St. Johns Country Day at the right time seeing as St. Johns Country Day is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
