The Greenville Tigers lost against the Calhoun Tigers back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Greenville took a serious blow against Calhoun, falling 80-52.
Calhoun was led to victory by Javontae Wiley and Tyler Robertson. Wiley scored 16 points along with three steals, while Robertson scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. That makes it five consecutive games in which Robertson has scored at least 25% of Calhoun's points. Another player making a difference was Brenterris Managan, who scored 12 points.
Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Calhoun, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Greenville will be home for the holidays to greet Calhoun at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Calhoun focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Luverne at 8:00 p.m. on December 14th. Luverne will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
