On Saturday, Plainview didn't have too much trouble with the Savages on the road as they won 48-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Plainview.
Marya Southerland was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with four steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacelyn Hammon, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Plainview's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Tecumseh, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
Plainview is on the road again on Friday and plays the Pirates at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd. As for Tecumseh, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Redskins at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Oklahoma (McLoud is ranked 136th, while the Savages are ranked 135th).
