Wonderful College Prep Academy extended their winning streak to 12 games thanks to a huge performance from Daniela Macias. The Wolves came out on top against the Avenal Buccaneers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from Macias, who had 17 kills, 15 digs, three aces, and two blocks. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 30 games she's played.

Wonderful College Prep Academy was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 21-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Wonderful College Prep Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Selena Rico, who had 24 assists and nine digs. That's the most digs Rico has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Samantha Maldonado, who had 13 kills and 12 digs.

Wonderful College Prep Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in 13 consecutive matchups.

Wonderful College Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 26-8-2. As for Avenal, they moved to 21-14-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
