Elijah Flowers continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 38 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Emmanuel Banks, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Valley's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-16. As for Bonanza, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-14.
Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against the Gators at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nevada (Green Valley is ranked 42nd, while the Vikings are ranked 45th). As for Bonanza, they will head out on the road to square off against the Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
