Baldwin had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victor by  an  8-1 margin over the Canon-McMillan Big Macs. This was payback for the Highlanders, who suffered  a  7-3  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 Camryn Temme was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Temme was also stellar in the batter's box,  firing off three  home runs and four  RBI while going 3-for-4.

 In other batting news,  Ryley Shaw was  incredible,  firing off three  home runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  runs (three).
 Baldwin  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Canon-McMillan only managed four  hits.
 Looking ahead, Baldwin is taking a road trip to  square off against West Mifflin  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Canon-McMillan, they will be playing at home against Peters Township  at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday.
