Mission Vista managed to keep up with Maranatha Christian until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Mission Vista ended up on the wrong side of a rough 65-39 walloping at the hands of Maranatha Christian.
Meanwhile, Pacific Ridge's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They lost to Escondido Charter on the road by a decisive 61-43 margin. Pacific Ridge has struggled against Escondido Charter recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Mission Vista now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Pacific Ridge, they bumped their record down to 2-12 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
