Weaubleau has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Dadeville Bearcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Dadeville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Weaubleau, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Weaubleau didn't have too much trouble with Humansville at home as they won 50-34. Given Weaubleau's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 214th, while Humansville is ranked 437th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-25, which was the final score in Dadeville's tilt against Macks Creek on Monday. Dadeville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-9.
Weaubleau is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Dadeville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-16.
Things could have been worse for Weaubleau, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 61-43 loss to Dadeville in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Weaubleau avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
