Lancaster Country Day scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. Everything went their way against Mount Calvary Christian as Lancaster Country Day made off with a 81-58 victory. The victory was nothing new for Lancaster Country Day as they're now sitting on three straight.
Mount Calvary Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Josiah Masters, who scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Masters has scored all season. Avery Kopcha was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
The victory got Lancaster Country Day back to even at 4-4. As for Mount Calvary Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lancaster Country Day will challenge Lancaster County Christian at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Lancaster County Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Thursday. As for Mount Calvary Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against New Covenant Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
