When it comes to explaining why Boca Raton Christian lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Delaney Cronin. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cronin has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaila Maser, who scored nine points along with 14 rebounds and two steals.
Boca Raton Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for St. John Paul II Academy, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boca Raton Christian will square off against Donna Klein Jewish Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. John Paul II Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against North Broward Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
