St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) snapped the 4-game winning streak of
Lincoln (Tallahassee, Fla.), with a 41-25 victory on Saturday.
The Raiders were up 24-19 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter.
With the win St. Thomas Aquinas extended its winning streak to 10 games. STA defeated the Hurricanes 35-18 last week.
Cameron Joseph played well for the Trojans. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown and caught one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to five on the year.
The Fort Lauderdale school's standout player in the win was
Will McDonald. The senior ran for one touchdown.
Lincoln came in surrendering 17.1 points per game this season. LHS struggled against the Raiders' offense, which entered the game scoring 41.5 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Lincoln, which notched a 24-17 victory over Osceola in its previous outing.
