This season hasn't been kind to the Lincoln West Wolverines, who are still winless after their eighth game. They were dealt a 77-42 defeat at the hands of East Tech on Tuesday. Lincoln West has not had much luck with East Tech recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
East Tech got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chris Simon out in front who scored 17 points along with seven steals. Simon is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. George Thomas was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Lincoln West's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-8. As for East Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln West will take on Campus International at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Campus International is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for East Tech, they will be playing at home against John F. Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. John F. Kennedy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 397 points over their last six games.
