Cedar Creek Christian came out on top against Westside on Wednesday thanks in part to Dereck Garcia's efforts. Garcia scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3, which was good enough to also set a new career-low in walks in the process. What's more, he also racked up two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February of 2024.
