 Despite the  defeat, Pendleton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Khimora Scott  shot 42% from the field to rack up 18 points and five  boards. That's the most  rebounds  Scott has posted since back in December of 2024.  Jadyn Schmidt was another key player,  putting up seven  points.
Pendleton's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Baker, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record  this season.
