The Scranton Prep Cavaliers are taking a road trip to  face off against the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Scranton Prep will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Scranton Prep had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Scranton on Saturday. The Cavaliers blew past the Knights 11-3. The Cavaliers not only won  on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win  since March 31st (when they won  13-2).

The team  relied heavily on  Michael DeRichie, who  went 3-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. Scranton Prep is undefeated when  DeRichie posts three or  more  hits, but 3-11 otherwise.  Aiden Straw was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs.

Buckhorns fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Warriors since  on Saturday.

 Wallenpaupack Area has also traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record  this season. As for Scranton Prep, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
