The L.E.A.D. Academy Lions have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They breezed by South Baldwin Christian Academy at home to the tune of 64-17 on Tuesday. That looming 64-17 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for L.E.A.D. Academy yet this season.
L.E.A.D. Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Donovan Dean out in front who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Hinshaw, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
L.E.A.D. Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-16. As for South Baldwin Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
L.E.A.D. Academy will head out on the road to take on the Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Baldwin Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
