The St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 66-48 to Bronson. St. Philip Catholic Central has not had much luck with Bronson recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Kamron Brackett had a dynamite game for Bronson, scoring 30 points along with 8 rebounds and 8 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Boston Bucklin, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds.
St. Philip Catholic Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Bronson, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Philip Catholic Central will take on Calhoun Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 6th. As for Bronson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pennfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
