Charter Oak extended the longest winning streak in Sierra this week by beating Yucaipa, 53-33. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Charter Oak took down the Thunderbirds 53-33 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kory Brown threw for 339 yards and 5 touchdowns and ran for 17 yards in the win.
Lou Farrar's team's Brown and Donavin Washington led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Brown has thrown for 3,229 yards this season, while Washington has 89 catches for 1,499 yards. Adam Goss from South Hills leads the league in rushing with 1,425 yards.
The Chargers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on Yucaipa. Brown ran for 17 yards during the win.
