The Easton Area Rovers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 59-58 to Liberty. Easton Area has not had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the loss, Easton Area still got an impressive performance from Ryan Cornish, who scored 15 points. Adonis Pompilus was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Easton Area has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Liberty, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
Easton Area will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Nazareth Area is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Liberty, they will take on the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
