The Nipmuc Regional Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hudson Hawks at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Nipmuc Regional is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.3  runs per game  this season.

 Nipmuc Regional got a great performance from  Daniel Heisler as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit over five innings pitched. Heisler has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings every time he's  pitched this season.
 On the hitting side,  Noah Parotta was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and two  doubles. Another player making a difference was  Anthony Ruggiero, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Hudson fell victim to a  rough 11-5 defeat at the hands of Oakmont Regional  on Monday. Hudson has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Nipmuc Regional's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Hudson, they now  have a losing record at 2-3.
