The StoneBridge Cavaliers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Atlantic Shores Christian, falling 55-21. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points StoneBridge has scored all season.
Despite the loss, StoneBridge still got an impressive performance from Tyler Thompson, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two blocks. Alex DeVane was another key contributor, scoring five points.
StoneBridge's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-12.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Broadwater Academy the next time they take the court. StoneBridge will host the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Seahawks will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
