Hawkins waltzed into their contest on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They breezed by the Linden-Kildare Tigers to the tune of 72-21. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 24 points or more this season.

Hawkins pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.1 points per game. As for Linden-Kildare, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7.

Hawkins will head out to square off against Ore City at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hawkins is facing Ore City at the right time seeing as Ore City is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Linden-Kildare, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Linden-Kildare Tigers face off against the Harleton Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
