Mission Oak was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hanford apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
When it comes to explaining why Mission Oak lost, one person who can't be blamed is Malakai Rodriguez. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points along with two steals. Jacob Ramirez was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Mission Oak has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season. As for Hanford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-16.
Mission Oak didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-54 loss vs. Dinuba on the 9th. Hanford has also already played their next contest, a 70-59 loss against Lemoore on the 9th.
