Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Opelousas). They were the clear victors by a 32-20 margin over the Northwest Raiders on Monday. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered an 18-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Opelousas' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Northwest, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Opelousas will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Raiders: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
