CLEVELAND, Mo. - the Vikings had a big 21-point first quarter on Saturday, sealing a 40-0 victory over Drexel (Mo.).
Midway scored on a rushing touchdown, a defensive touchdown and a passing touchdown in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, MHS led 21-0 at the half.
The Cleveland school grew its lead to 33 points entering the fourth quarter. The Vikings scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run.
With the win Midway extended its winning streak to five games. Midway defeated Appleton City 42-0 last week.
A 28-14 Midway victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
