PikeView has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Princeton Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in West Virginia (PikeView is ranked 21st, while the Tigers are ranked 29th).
Last Wednesday, PikeView strolled past the G-Men with points to spare, taking the game 50-32.
Meanwhile, Princeton didn't have too much trouble with the Beavers on the road on Wednesday as they won 54-39.
Princeton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maddie Stull led the charge by scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Asia Collins was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
PikeView is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Princeton, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.
PikeView couldn't quite finish off the Tigers in their previous matchup back in January and fell 40-38. Can PikeView avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
