Pataula Charter Academy has not had much luck with Randolph-Clay recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Randolph-Clay's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaleen Gibson, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Tyrion Smith, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
Pataula Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Randolph-Clay, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Pataula Charter Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Stewart County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Stewart County is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Randolph-Clay, they will head out on the road to face off against Quitman County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Quitman County is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
