Ironwood extended their losing streak  to three  on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They were dealt  a  66-12 loss at the hands of the McClintock Chargers. The Eagles lost against the Chargers in their previous head to head  back in October of 2017, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the  35-9 score last time.
 Ironwood's loss  came despite strong showings from  Ramsey Pyne and  Gianni Garcia.  Pyne gained 46 total yards and two touchdowns, while  Garcia rushed for 137 yards. Garcia was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 53 yards.
As for McClintock,  the  victory  got them back to even at 4-4. The  win was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on three straight.
 McClintock was led to victory by  Fredrick 'CP' Parsons and  Aidan Whitaker.  Parsons rushed for 157 yards and three  TDs on only nine carries, while  Whitaker gained 327 total yards and a touchdown. Those  three  rushing touchdowns gave  Parsons a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hayden Bajet, who picked up 129 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.

Meanwhile, McClintock will  take on  rival Dobson  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,034 yards in their previous games.
