Everything went their way against Loudoun County HomeSchool as James River HomeSchool made off with a 77-55 win. James River HomeSchool has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.
James River HomeSchool's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Samuel Mitchell led the charge by scoring 19 points along with five assists and four steals. Mitchell also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Matthew Thomas, who scored 16 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Guardian Christian Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for James River HomeSchool, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.
Guardian Christian Academy was taken down by James River HomeSchool 50-19 when the teams last played back in February of 2022. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Guardian Christian Academy was down 28-6.
