The victory made it two in a row for Lawrence County and bumps their season record up to 3-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for West Marion, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. West Marion hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down. Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
