Amistad's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Fatema Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. LaShaya Patterson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Bassick has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Amistad, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Bunnell is coming into the match with eight straight defeats at home, meaning Bassick will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
