 The  win was  the third in a row for Mount Union, bringing their record for this year to 7-2. As for Tussey Mountain,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-3.
 Mount Union didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  10-0  victory vs. West Branch on the 18th. Tussey Mountain has also already played their next game,  a  6-3  loss against Southern Fulton on the 20th.
