The Decatur Eagles entered their tilt with the Temple Wildcats with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Decatur blew past Temple 61-22 on the road. Considering Decatur has won six matches by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Decatur got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Renlee Longenbaugh out in front who scored 14 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Laken Coffman, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals.
Decatur's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Temple, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Decatur is on the road again on Saturday and play against Liberty Hill at 1:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Liberty Hill is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Temple, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bryan at 7:00 p.m. Bryan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Temple in Texas (Bryan is ranked 190th, while Temple is ranked 1125th).
