Despite the loss, Padua Franciscan had strong showings from Roderick Love, who gained 239 total yards and two touchdowns, and Nick Barker, who threw for 259 yards and three touchdowns. Love was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 69 yards. Gio DiSiena was another key contributor, picking up 98 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Padua Franciscan has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Walsh Jesuit, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
