With a playoff win on the line, Fleming Island rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past the Middleburg Broncos, posting an 81-44 win. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Fleming Island's ninth in a row) raised their record to 21-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.9 points per game. As for Middleburg, their loss dropped their record down to 10-16.

Fleming Island will look to defend their home court on Friday against Orange Park at 7:00 p.m. Fleming Island knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Orange Park likes a good challenge. Middleburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
