The Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Mavericks waltzed into Friday's matchup with four straight wins but they left with five. They took down Mountain Home Christian Academy 50-33.
Leading Mid-Missouri HomeSchool to victory were Alia Robinson and Tara Marks. Robinson dropped a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds, while Marks scored 12 points along with 6 steals. Marks continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Dorr, who scored 2 points along with 6 assists and 4 steals.
Mid-Missouri HomeSchool now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mountain Home Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Mid-Missouri HomeSchool's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lighthouse Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. Mountain Home Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Deer at 2:30 p.m. on December 12th.
